{"id":425,"date":"2013-07-28T21:01:03","date_gmt":"2013-07-28T21:01:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/akashgyanvatika.com\/test\/?p=425"},"modified":"2013-08-02T08:59:29","modified_gmt":"2013-08-02T08:59:29","slug":"jayaka-pakora-kadi-rice-kheer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/akashgyanvatika.com\/test\/jayaka-pakora-kadi-rice-kheer\/","title":{"rendered":"Jayaka &#8211; Pakora Kadi &#038; Rice Kheer"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">PAKORA KADI<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredient:<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sour curd : 2 cups<\/li>\n<li>Water : 1 cup<\/li>\n<li>Besan or Gram Flour : 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Oil : 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Ginger&amp; Green chilli paste : 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Jeera or Cumin seeds : 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Mustard seeds : 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Heeng or asafoetida : 1 pinch<\/li>\n<li>Curry leaves : 6 &#8211; 7 leaves<\/li>\n<li>Red chillies Dry : 2<\/li>\n<li>Sugar : half teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Haldi : half teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Red chilli powder : half teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Garam Masala : half teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Chopped Coriander : 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients for Pakora:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Besan or Gram Flour : half cup<br \/>\nChopped Onion : 1 piece<br \/>\nSoda-bi-carbonate : 1 pinch<br \/>\nKasoori Methi dried : 1 teaspoon<br \/>\nSalt, Black pepper,<br \/>\nRed chilli powder : as per taste<br \/>\nPreparation:<br \/>\nMake a mixture of all the ingredients of Pakoras and add water to make it thick. Microwave in small microwave safe idli mould for about 2 minutes at 100 % power.<br \/>\nMicrowave oil at 100% power for 30 secs. in a microwave safe bowl.<br \/>\nAdd mustard seeds, cumin seeds (jeera), heeng (asafoetida), curry leaves, red chilli, turmeric powder and salt. Microwave for 1 minute at 100% power. Add chilli-ginger paste and microwave for 2 minutes at a 100% power.<br \/>\nAdd the pakoras to the kadi and microwave for 4 minutes at 70-80% power.<br \/>\nGarnish with chopped coriander leaves.<br \/>\nServe the pakora kadi with boiled rice or roti.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">RICE KHEER<\/h3>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Preparation:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nWash and soak rice for about 20 minutes and then drain the water.<br \/>\nMix milk, rice and cardamon powder and boil at 100% for 6-7 minutes in a deep microwave safe bowl.
